Within the past year, I’ve assisted with murals in Chicago, creating for black and brown people. 3 in Englewood, for “Grow Greater Englewood”. I’ve also assisted with vending events such as “The Silver Room Block Party” to not only help set up and sell but also learn from hands-on experience how to do vending myself and build a brand. I’m currently working on building a brand that connects to and defines being the weird black girl in many ways, young or older. I aspire to be a well-known name that is constantly in spaces and creating spaces to uplift those weird girls! I want to be known for creating art with people to give them joy, to give them peace, to connection to those inner feelings. To remind those who were told they can never be something great that as long as you push and believe no one can stop you but you.
