Inspired by the shops on Magazine Street in the Garden District of New Orleans,  owning a novelty shop became our founder's retirement dream. With a lay-off from her corporate position and a chance opportunity, that retirement dream came to fruition a little earlier than expected and she hasn't looked back since. 

  

philosofher is a mission-driven social enterprise that is curated to celebrate and honor the life of, the love of, creatives, girls, and women  – intentionally and unapologetically.

We offer a collection of creative, inspiring, and zesty gifts, apparel, lifestyle goods, stationery, novelties, and such. Our designs are simply made with passion and creative energy, the quality of our products exceptional, but most importantly, it’s the words imprinted (both borrowed and penned) on our items and the story behind each that sets us apart from most brands.
